MEMORIAM
Huw Christie Harry Williams
9th February, 1960 - 17th August, 2001
By Michael
Baumgartner
The world lost a man who was committed to fact-finding
journalism, a rarity in today's world of commercially conscious reporting.
Huw Christie's magazine was to date the only scientific AIDS and health
journal where critical, fact-based, uncensored reporting about AIDS
and its suggested cause, the alleged "HI-Virus", was possible. By doing
so he helped hundreds possibly thousands of people around the world
to make informed choices about their health and the treatment of their
conditions, classified as AIDS....READ

The other day I thought I heard a faint, hysterical voice saying, "AIDS
is going to explode into the general population!". I reassured
myself that I was dreaming, that it was nothing more than a long-since
discredited echo from the American past. Unfortunately though, it's
the American present - and the voices this time are coming from China,
Indonesia and Vietnam....READ

Huw Christie R.I.P.,
Aids Rethinker editor of Continuum Magazine,
has died 17th
August, 2001, reportedly of KS
complications and physical exhaustion.
Or put another way, he died young, of an excess of insight, art and
intelligence -in the course of his relentless and impossible commitment
to humanity.

IRISH LINDSAY TRIBUNAL ACCEPTS
AIDS RETHINKER SUBMISSION
July 4 2001, DUBLIN -- The Irish Lindsay Tribunal into haemophilliac
deaths has today formally accepted a submission from an international
group of Aids Rethinker scientists and activists. The submission was
made June 21st, but no acknowledgement of it's receipt was issued by
the Tribunal.
In
the interim, AidsMyth.com editors widely canvassed key political and
legal figures on the contents of the submission. On 2nd July, we communicated
with the Tribunal and the Irish Attorney General, Michael McDowell,
in re the failure to acknowledge the submission.
We have now recieved a formal acceptance of the submission and an apology
for the delay from the Solicitor to the Tribunal, Mr. John V. Nolan
(view here).
As a result, international pharmaceutical group GlaxoSmithKline, is
now facing legal challenges to it's anti-HIV drugs in Ireland and in
South Africa - where a civil legal action over toxicity of the drugs
has commenced. This is not to be construed as indicating that the Tribunal
has acted other than in good faith in this matter.
STOP
PRESS: We have also now secured legal representation
to process the procedural aspects of the submission.

BATTLE OVER AIDS DRUGS TOXICITY
BEGINS IN SOUTH AFRICA
July 2, 2001, JOHANNESBURG -- A SOUTH AFRICAN woman is citing President
Mbeki’s controversial views on Aids in an R1,000,000 legal action against
the British manufacturer of the drugs she claims killed her husband.
The case, which is likely to reignite debate over Mr Mbeki’s views on
the HIV-Aids epidemic, could also open the way to similar damages claims
against pharmaceutical companies.
Attorney Richard Stretch, a member of Hayman's legal team, said Mbeki
had been cited because of his statements about the toxicity of AZT.

THE
PROPHET OF NEW THINKING
Before
addressing Irish businesspeople, lateral thinker
Dr. Edward de Bono spoke to Fintan Dunne about
New Thinking, the Internet, The Gang of Three
and "parallel thinking" for the new millennium.
They say
if you design a better mousetrap the world
will beat a path to your door. Dr. Edward de Bono has designed new ways
of thinking, and for thirty years has beaten his own prophetic path
about the world to proclaim them. AIDS Rethinkers would benefit if this
kind of revolution in thinking gathers pace. MORE
